About Stock
Stock is a grocery list app that helps households shop together.

What we collect
- Account information — email address, display name, hashed password (or Google account link if you sign in with Google)
- Grocery data — lists, items, categories, household membership
- Device & usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system (collected automatically by our error-tracking and hosting infrastructure)
- Feedback — message text and optional screenshot when you use the in-app feedback form

Third-party services
- Error tracking — receives error reports, device info, and feedback you submit so we can fix bugs.
- Email delivery — receives your email address when we send you transactional messages (password reset, confirmation).
- Authentication provider — if you choose to sign in with a third-party account (e.g. Google), that provider receives only the data needed to verify your identity.
We may add privacy-respecting analytics in the future. If we do, we will update this policy and notify you. You can contact us for a current list of specific sub-processors.
Where your data is stored
All your data is stored and processed within the European Union.
How long we keep your data
- Account & grocery data — until you delete your account
- Error reports — 90 days
- Transactional email logs — 30 days
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Withdraw consent at any time (where consent is the legal basis)

Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. The mobile app uses privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the app is used. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies.
Children
Stock is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or with an in-app notice. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
